
Evansville Youth Basketball
Evansville Youth Basketball (EYB) is a non-profit organization that is managed by a Board of Directors and supported by the Evansville High School basketball and youth coaches.

EYB supports approximately 9 boy's teams and 7 girl's teams from 3rd grade through 8th grade. We also offer in-house skills clinics for 1st and 2nd grade boys and girls. There are more than 160 youth basketball players in Evansville and the number continues to grow. It is an exciting time for basketball in Evansville!

Our Objectives:
Skill development:
Help young athletes develop skills that will allow them to perform well in higher levels of competition

Goal setting:
Set clear, challenging, and achievable goals for the team, and track progress regularly
Sportsmanship and Teamwork:
Teach players to respect opposing teams, teammates, coaches and referees
Promote teamwork and encourage players to participate in planning and decision-making
Confidence and Positive Mindset:
Help players build confidence and feel like they are part of a team
Encourage players to develop a positive mindset and celebrate small victories

Having Fun:
Make the learning process enjoyable and encourage participation
